Companies from the machine industry, agriculture, solar energy, wastewaters and information technology from the Western Balkans region are already negotiating with representatives from the free zones of Dubai and Abu Dhabi to commence with business activities in the United Arab Emirates. The head of office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Marko Selakovic, informs that the first regional centers are expected to be open by the end of the year.

The recently signed agreements between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the free zones of the United Arab Emirates enable the companies and the businesspersons from the Western Balkans region to establish subsidiaries of their companies in the free zones under privileged conditions. With these agreements, the OAE provides fast procedures to the companies during the procedures of establishing a company, with minimum or significantly reduced costs, as well as additional assistance in establishing contacts with banks, experts and complete logistics in order to start with business as efficient as possible…
